When something is Holy Spirit-led, it is my experience that things fall into place easily and uncontrolled by my efforts. For example, I did not ask to become a Team Member at Greater Love OKC (GLOKC).

I was invited! What a blessing that was when being told, “we are holding space for you”, it meant not only a place to come and be in community, but a real physical space! What did I need an office for?

I took the GLOKC Team up on their offer to join them, decorated my space and waited, as I had no idea what to do with it except to maybe use it for study, writing, mentoring…? I was a welcomed Team Member and I was content with that until Holy Spirit showed me an opportunity that drew me in—Women-Centered Coaching. This WCC model was created over 20 years ago by a brilliant woman, Dr Claire Zammit. WCC is eons above the traditional coaching models developed earlier by men for the professional work place. The WCC model is designed to help women overcome barriers that hinder their progress, to self-actualize and discover their true identity in order to live out their life purpose in freedom and joy, as God intended. I felt drawn to discover more and enrolled in the WCC Masterclass.

What I am learning as part of the WCC Institute is that in order to work on those things that keep us stuck and hinder us from truly experiencing freedom to transform into our God-given true selves, we need a safe place and a safe support system to guide us. Simply put, we need a growth container that is safe, confidential and trusted, so we can process through those things, internal and external, that are hindering us from seeing things from a new mindset—new opportunities for healing, growth, self-discovery, relationship, community, creativity, work—freedom in Christ!

Through this foundational WCC Masterclass, I discovered what Holy Spirt has for me to do at GLOKC. I am to be a Woman-Centered Coach and create a safe space for women to enter and process through their barriers to personal growth and lead them into discovering who they are in Christ/True Identity and transform into their brilliant, yet imperfect, self-actualized, whole being so they can live in the Light, creativity and joy that comes from experiencing freedom in Christ.
